Needs

Redesign the visual identity and the website of L’ŒUF, an architectural agency reknowned for their sustainable practices and social policies. Adapt the website to harmonize with the new identity.

Challenges

  • Refresh a 15 year old identity;
  • Integrate the ideas of various stakeholders (partners, employees and clients) — namely the « handmade » concept;
  • Find a solution to ensure that the new identity will be respected by all personnel;
  • Create an easy to manage website for non-technical users;
  • Use only local and sustainable suppliers.

Solutions

  • Operate from a co-creation model with stakeholders;
  • Gather information through various meetings and interviews;
  • Create an easy-to-use graphic norms guide;
  • Elaborate a multi-use graphical texture;
  • Use a Drupal platform for the website;
  • Produce a special paper made of recycled fibers at Papeterie St-Ambroise ;
  • Letterpress the stationary to reduce waste and create a handcraft look and feel.

Results

  • A new identity that modernizes the image of the agency;
  • A user-friendly website that is easy to update;
  • A unique looking stationary, classy and minimalist with a human, handcraft style.
