Needs

Create a visual identity for a start-up offering a hydroponic tile system for the sustainable agriculture industry. The project also included the development of a logo for their first product, an innovative substrate made of bamboo fiber.

Challenges

  • Create a mysterious logo flavored with science that is simple to reproduce and low cost to print;
  • Work with a US-based client while limiting GHGs;
  • Target 2 segments of global clients: small-size conscious producers and the multinational agricultural industry.

Solutions

  • Create a monochrome highly minimalist logo;
  • Use a simplified icon that represents garden produce;
  • Meet via Skype.

Results

  • A strong corporate identity easy to use in various medias and inexpensive to print;
  • An accessible logo for both target markets;
  • No gas emissions caused by air travel.
